Our Beliefs

Episcopalians, part of the Anglican tradition, believe in one God (Trinity), follow Jesus Christ's teachings of love and service, and find guidance in Scripture, Tradition, and Reason, emphasizing inclusivity, social justice, and the dignity of all people, while embracing diverse views within a shared commitment to worship, with core sacraments like Baptism and Eucharist being central. They are known for being welcoming, progressive on social issues (like LGBTQ+ inclusion), and comfortable with ambiguity, focusing on God's boundless love and grace.

"Will you strive for Justice and Peace among all people, and respect the dignity of every human being?"

Our Mission

Who We Are

Grace Episcopal Church was established in 1851 and has  continually had an active congregation for 175 years in 2026.

After the original church building was destroyed in a fire, the current sanctuary was built within a year and dedicated in 1901.

We have a small but mighty congregation. True prayer warriors filled with God's Love.

Please come and see.

Grace Church is dedicated to uniting our community through faith. Our mission is to share the love of God, provide access to transformative sermons, outreach programs, and foster a welcoming atmosphere for all. We aim to uplift and engage every individual, making a meaningful impact in Ravenswood, WV.
